Fourways Crossing Shopping Centre, a destination of choice in the broader Fourways area for the past 17 years, is in the process of receiving an extensive upgrade.
The R100-million refurbishment and extension of Fourways Crossing commenced in October 2014 and will extend the centre to 51 000 m² upon completion. In addition to the Viva Gym and Eagle Falls Spur restaurant, the new stores include Typo, iFix, Footgear and Europe Car. A further 1 500 m² of new retail space will be added.
Fourways Crossing will boast a full upgrade, including the toilet facilities, with simple, elegant finishes, crisp ceiling lines and enhanced lighting.
Exciting tenants, including Coricraft, Factorie, Cotton On and a new Fournos Bakery, will be introduced with the retail expansion.
Shoppers can be comforted to know that Pick n Pay, Sportsmans Warehouse, Toys R Us, Mr Price, HiFi Corp and Viva Gym will remain as anchor tenants to the exciting tenant mix.
The refurbishment is due for completion in April 2016. While every effort is being made to keep any inconvenience to an absolute minimum, the owners would like to express their gratitude to both tenants and local residents for their loyal support during the upgrade. All stores will continue trading during the refurbishment and no construction will take place during the peak Festive Season.
